Story Chan ("the App") is developed by SRAI LABS ("we", "our", "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how user data is handled within the App.

1. Information We Collect

a) Google Account Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile photo
• Google UID (unique user ID)

This data is automatically stored securely in Firebase Authentication and Firestore.

b) App Usage & Story Data

We store:

• Rooms you create
• Joined rooms
• Story text you write
• Players in the room
• Timestamps & turn order

All stored in Firebase Firestore.

c) Device Information (Non-Personal)

We may automatically collect:

• Device model
• OS version
• Crash logs

Used only for debugging & app improvement.

2. How Your Information Is Used

We use your data only for:

• Authenticating you in the app
• Syncing rooms and stories
• Allowing collaboration with friends
• Managing turns & room permissions
• Improving app performance

We do not:

• Sell data
• Share data with third parties
• Use data for advertising

3. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored in:

• Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Firestore

Firebase provides:

• Encrypted storage
• Secure Google-managed servers
• Authentication-required access

Only authenticated users may read/write their own data.

4. Data Retention

• User accounts remain in Firebase until deleted.
• Room data and stories remain until removed by users.
• We do not retain user data outside Firebase. Anonymous analytics data may be processed by Firebase Analytics.

5. Children's Privacy

StoryChan is intended for users 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Your Choices

Users can:

• Request account deletion
• Delete rooms or stories they created
• Stop using the app at any time
